Privacy Policy
In short. The app has no servers of its own and makes no external network requests. Your Markdown is unpacked inside your own browser and written directly to your Confluence site. We do not receive, store, or have any means of accessing your content.
01 Who we are
Quickfixx publishes this app. For any privacy question, write to support@kunfeyekun.co.uk.
02 Where the app runs
The app is built on Atlassian Forge and runs entirely on Atlassian-operated infrastructure inside your own Atlassian environment. It declares no external egress permissions, which means the Forge platform blocks any attempt to contact a third-party host. There is no backend of ours, no database of ours, and no analytics of ours.
03 What happens to your files
- You choose a
.ziparchive. It is opened in your browser — the archive itself is never uploaded to us or to any third party. - File contents pass from your browser to the app's Forge function, which runs inside Atlassian, and from there are written to your Confluence site as pages and attachments.
- The resulting content is stored by Confluence under your own instance's data residency, retention, backup and access-control settings.
04 What the app stores
During an import the app keeps a job record in Atlassian's Forge storage, scoped to your installation. It contains only the shape of the import:
- file paths and the page titles derived from them
- parent and child relationships between planned pages
- the Confluence page IDs that were created
- per-file status and any error messages
It does not contain the text of your documents or your images. The record exists so that a failing file cannot stop the whole job, and so links can be resolved once every page exists.
05 Personal data
The app does not collect, request or transmit personal data. It sets no cookies, uses no trackers, no advertising identifiers and no analytics, and builds no user profiles. Personal data that happens to appear inside documents you choose to import is written to your own Confluence site and governed by your organisation's own policies — we never see it.
06 Permissions, and why each one
| Scope | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
read:space:confluence | To show the list of spaces you can import into. |
read:page:confluence | To detect whether a page already exists, so re-importing updates it instead of creating a duplicate. |
write:page:confluence | To create and update the imported pages. |
write:confluence-file | To upload your images as page attachments. |
storage:app | To hold the job record described in section 04. |
No other permission is requested. In particular the app asks for no permission to read existing attachments and none to send data outward.
07 Sub-processors
There are none. Because the app runs entirely within Atlassian and performs no external requests, no third party processes your data on our behalf. Atlassian itself processes your Confluence data under your existing agreement with Atlassian.
08 Retention and deletion
Job records are small and scoped to your installation; uninstalling the app removes its Forge storage and with it those records. Pages and attachments already created in Confluence are yours and are unaffected by uninstalling — remove them in Confluence if you no longer want them.
09 Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or erase. Requests concerning data inside your Confluence instance should go to your own Confluence administrator. You are welcome to contact us with questions at any time.
10 Security
We follow Atlassian's Security Bug Fix Policy for Marketplace apps. To report a suspected vulnerability, email support@kunfeyekun.co.uk with SECURITY in the subject line. We aim to acknowledge within one business day.
11 Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and note the change here. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
